Lichtkunstenaar Paul Klotz legt zich vooral toe op interactieve lichtinstallaties in de openbare ruimte. Door installaties te maken die reageren op fysieke interactie met voorbijgangers, wil Klotz artistieke zones creëren, die het dagelijks leven van mensen verrijken. Klotz ontwikkelde enkele maatschappelijk geëngageerde projecten, maar zijn installaties hebben in eerste plaats een esthetische functie, voortgekomen uit zijn fascinatie met licht als artistiek medium.
Light artist Paul Klotz makes interactive light installations in public spaces. By letting his installations respond to physical interaction with passers-by, Klotz wants to create artistic zones which enrich human experience.
